Pattaya is nestled along a picturesque bay on the east coast of the gulf of Thailand, roughly 170 km southeast of Bangkok. Pattaya is the popular beach destination for those wishing to escape the mania of Bangkok, and it has consequently grown into a bustling international playground.
Pattaya makes an all-out attempt to provide the best of everything. Here everything means everything a tourist can imagine while on holiday: recreation, entertainment, sports, sightseeing and lots of fun. Day and night it presents an ever changing kaleidoscope of thrills.
During the day go scuba diving, surfing and water skiing, or wander around the thousands of shops. There are also a number of delightful offshore islands boasting great sandy beaches which are easily accessible from the resort. At night things really get going, and there are bars and restaurants for all tastes. Nights out in Pattaya more or less guarantee inexhaustible amusement and non-stop action.

The best way to get to Pattaya from Bangkok is by taxi. Door to door service is about 1800 Baht and will take a maximum of 2 hours.

Nearby attractions include Pattaya Water Park (0.5 km) and Pattaya Viewpoint (2.1 km). The drive from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport will take between 1.5 to 2 hours.
